Abstract
Behcet¡¯s disease is a multisystem inflammatory disorder of unknown etiology presenting recurrent oral and genital ulcerations as well as ocular lesions, and sometimes involves the nervous system in a subgroup of patients. Given the rarity of the disease and the need to exclude a few neurological disorders including multiple sclerosis (MS), neuromuyelitis optica (NMO), systemic vasculitis and stroke of the young adult, diagnosing neuro-Beh?et¡¯s disease is often difficult and challenging process. We will present a case of relapsing-remitting and refractory neuro-Behcet disease showing the characteristic MRI lesions and optic neuritis.
